John Boehner

House Minority Leader John Boehner with his argument that any real bipartisan effort at reform must begin by scrapping the existing House and Senate bills and starting fresh from a clean slate. basically stalling so they could have something to bash during the elections and the guaranteed money they will have received from the anti Health-care Lobby.

Bipartisan for republicans is for Democrats to forget about Health-care Reform. they don’t bring anything to the conversation besides talking points that have been proven to be incorrect. No ideas but keeping the status quo. (more…)

Mitt Romney the HypocriteRomney is expected to run for president again in 2012 to be the Republican Party’s nominee against President Barack Obama, whom he hypocritically trashed thursday to the delight of activists at the opening day of the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington. so its no surprise he would try and bash Obama for some votes.

Romney also said the $787 billion stimulus bill Obama pushed through hasn’t created “a net new job” except in the government sector, adding the business community “frankly, is scared” by his policies. (more…)

Jonathan Krohn Is The Political WonderKidTo complete his brief biography, Jonathan Krohn was born in Georgia and still lives there with his parents. Father Doug is a computer engineer while his mother Marla is a school teacher. He gets most of his news from republican talk show hosts and thus has no idea about what normal things people go through.

Jonathan Krohn has absolutely zero life experience to actually understand what he’s talking about. but the  republican base will eat this up. are there no adults who can garner such press, aside from Sarah Palin? / sarah palin is a joke btw.

Jonathan Krohn: I got into politics when I was eight years old. Six years now. And I got involved because I started listening to talk radio. It goes back to one event. The Democrats filibustered something in the Senate when I was eight years old. I don’t remember what it was on and I didn’t honestly care when I was eight years old. I cared about the history and the Senate rules,” “I listened to Bill Bennett and tons of other republican talk show hosts who talked about that and other policies and started branching out and caring about other issues in regards to politics. Bill Bennett really became an idol for me. I listened to him every morning from 6 to 9 for, oh, years. And I started learning more and started to be able to think on my own, understanding politics on my own. I started to be able to use my mind to engage in political conversations under the conservative banner.”

Mitt Romney Defends The Bush Record. dont blame the airplane beatdown!

Mitt Romney: “When it comes to shifting responsibility for failure, however, no one is a more frequent object of President Obama’s reproach than President Bush,” said Romney. “It’s wearing so thin that even the late night shows make fun of it. I am convinced that history will judge President Bush far more kindly — he pulled us from a deepening recession following the attack of 9-11, he overcame teachers unions to test school children and evaluate schools, he took down the Taliban, waged a war against the jihadists and was not afraid to call it what it is — a war. And he kept us safe.”

whitman for GOVWhitman can barely control her own two rich, rude and racist sons. Their antics will become front-page fodder should she win the GOP nomination.

Whitman kIDS: Will, also a Princeton student, was supposedly banned from the Cottage Club, one of the school’s hoity-toity eating clubs, afte rdropping the n-bomb at a black girl. -http://www.queerty.com

Newsweek:

To hear Jon Corzine tell it, Meg Whitman is either deceiving us or deceiving herself. Like Whitman, the former eBay CEO who’s vying for California’s Republican gubernatorial nomination, Corzine is one of the few people in America who has tried to make the leap from running a business (in his case, Goldman Sachs) to running a government (the state of New Jersey).

should we even be surprised at foxnews? given the fact that they cater to a racist audience?
Fox Nation

The Fox Nation linked to an article reporting on how

“Republican lawmakers in Congress are sponsoring a bill that seeks to abolish birthright citizenship for children born in the United States to illegal immigrant parents” using the headline, “GOP Targets ‘Anchor Babies.’” Several media outlets have identified the term “anchor babies” as, in the words of the Rocky Mountain News, “derogatory, even racist, because it implies that Hispanics are having children as a way to stay in the U.S.”
Several media outlets have identified term as “derogatory,” “pejorative”

Rocky Mountain News: Term “considered by many to be derogatory, even racist.” An August 2006 Rocky Mountain News article reported of children born in the United States to undocumented immigrants: “Opponents of illegal immigration call them ‘anchor babies’ - a term considered by many to be derogatory, even racist, because it implies that Hispanics are having children as a way to stay in the U.S.”

San Diego Union-Tribune, Reno Gazette-Journal: Term is “pejorative.” An April 2006 San Diego Union-Tribune article stated that an anti-immigration activist “dismissed teens marching in Los Angeles as ‘probably part of the anchor baby-boom of the late 1980s and 1990s,’ using a pejorative term for the U.S.-born children of undocumented immigrants.” Likewise, an October 2008 Reno Gazette-Journal article reported that “[s]ome opponents of illegal immigration call such children ‘anchor babies,’ a pejorative term that implies the child will serve as an ‘anchor’ for his or her illegal immigrant parents, preventing the parents’ deportations and acting as a pathway to citizenship for the whole family.”

Racism in the republican party is not news anymore , its a fact of life.

The opening-night speaker at first ever National Tea Party Convention ripped into President Obama, Sen. John McCain and “the cult of multiculturalism,” asserting that Obama was elected because “we do not have a civics, literacy test before people can vote in this country.”

The speaker, former Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., told about 600 delegates in a Nashville, Tenn., ballroom that in the 2008 election, America “put a committed socialist ideologue in the White House … Barack Hussein Obama.”

Roy Beck, the executive director of Numbers USA, made the case that stopping illegal immigration was the key to solving most of America’s economic problems. “We imported the health care crisis!” said Beck. “Every year we import one to one and a half million immigrants, and most of them go on welfare.”

Too bad too many Republicans are allowing such wingnuts to define the party. And too bad too many Democrats are so scared of the same wingnuts. - HP

god to joe the Fake ass plumber

he told Christianity Today in May 2009, God told him so:

JOE THE FAKE PLUMBER: The second day, when everything out came out about my taxes, you know, I got really scared, really down. All these people were saying just god-awful things about me. I mean, I’m not one to blow smoke up my skirt, but I think I’m a pretty nice guy and I’m not used to people saying that kind of thing about me. It really hurt. But then I went to bed that night and talked to God for a good, long time. The next morning, I woke up feeling like Superman and I didn’t care about what things people said anymore from that day on. They’re going to say what they’re going to say. They want to tear people down to make themselves feel better. They have their own agendas, and God said, “Well, you know, listen–I set you on a path, and go to it. See what you can do.”
