Senator Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y) accusing the president of having a “counterproductive” policy on Israel.
Schumer rebuked the administration’s approach to Israeli settlements in Jerusalem. “This has to stop,” he told the politically conservative Jewish Nachum Segal Show.

Schumer “I told the president, I told Rahm Emanuel and others in the administration that I thought the policy they took to try to bring about negotiations is counterproductive, because when you give the Palestinians hope that the United States will do its negotiating for them, they are not going to sit down and talk.”

Should Harry Reid Be Re-Elected?

Accountability on election day.

I was very critical of Harry Reid in the past for not showing enough backbone on issues i thought were in the best interest for all Americans and thus i was also going to favor him losing his Re-Election. Part of that was tide to him not being able to deliver on health -care for Americans.

Now that the Bill has passed i can say he has delivered for the uninsured people in this country. As citizens of this country “Voting” is our most important tool we have in holding our politicians accountable for delivering on promises made during elections. (more…)

Joe Lieberman (I-CT) is one of Congress’ biggest Israel hawks that love Israel long time , and sometimes more than he should. in ways that i sometimes think makes him forget he is an American first and an Israeli second or did he forget? he must keep in mind that by pushing America to favor Israel as it ignores the atrocities committed against the Palestinians by Israel he is putting America in danger to an attack by groups that believe Palestine should not be illegally occupied by Israel. Is this new “Public Option Talk” real? or is it all B.S so Harry Reid can get votes and then bait and switch with the loser talk again , once he gets elected?

Reid has always been a proponent of the provision. But he has deflected questions about using reconciliation to get it into law citing a potential lack of votes needed for passage.
