Australia has delivered a stark diplomatic warning to Israel
Australia warned Israel on Thursday that if it was involved in the alleged use of three fraudulent Australian passports in theĀ Dubai Murder it would not be considered the “act of a friend,” the foreign minister said.
Israel’s ambassador to Australia has been summoned to a meeting with the country’s Foreign Minister, after three Australians became the latest victims of identity theft from Israel’s Mossad . Kevin Rudd, the Australian prime minister, said his country would “not be silent on the matter”.
“If Australian passports are being used or forged by any state, let alone for the purpose of assassination, this is of the deepest concern and we are getting to the bottom of this now,” he told public broadcaster ABC.
“We will not leave a single stone unturned.”
“I am shocked, it’s identity theft - simply unbelievable,” Korman told the Jewish website Ynetnews.com.
